Welcome to CFHC Family Health center website. As a fairly new comer to castle, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and briefly give you and idea of who I am and my approach to my practice of medicine.
It is hard to believe that by the time this is printed, I will have completed my first year with CFHC Family Health Center. Prior to my arrival the clinic was undergoing major structural changes, and even as I write this update, positive and productive changes continue to take place. One of those changes has been my opportunity to serve as   interim medical director. As we continue to search for another qualified staff physician or medical director who will help us to continue to lead and transform this clinic into a place where people love to work, and a clinic trusted and appreciated by the community we serve.
As for myself, I am a bilingual, and would classify myself as a multicultural Board Certified Family Physician. Born and raised in Bogota Colombia, I immigrated to the United States in 1970, graduated form High School and devoted 13 years to military service in the USAF. I obtained my Medical Degree from the University of California Irvine and in 2001 I completed my residency in Family Medicine at the University of California San Francisco-Fresno. Since graduation I have practiced mostly in rural health and community health centers. I am married, have two daughters and two sons.

In a nut shell, that is the background and experience I bring to castle, but for all practical purposes, I approach and treat all my patients, collages and coworkers much as I would myself or my family members. For those who are happy and healthy, I will make every effort to keep them that way. For those afflicted, I will make every effort to restore their health, and for those who I can not restore to their state of good health, I hope to add as much life to their days as I can.
Having completed my first year as a CFHC Family Health center physician, I not only feel very much as an integral member of the castle family, but as a member of the community at large. I very much look forward to a long tenure here at castle. I invite everyone to become acquainted with the CFHC Family Health family and all the wonderful resources we have to offer. In the mean time I will continue to strengthen the wonderful relationships I have made and very much look forward to the many more to come.
